Soul of Steel Quest

I need help with this quest. When you get into ruins 3, there is a switch that you hit and you have a certain amount of time to get to the laser fence it unlocks. I need to know how to get to the laser fence in time. It closes as soon as I enter the room with it in it. Is there another route? Also if there are any more challenging parts like this on this quest please tell me when they appear and how to beat them so I don't have to create a new topic or add to this one thanks. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

PS: Don't stop for that teleporter you see between the two fences, go right on through both.

That thing didn't even bother me, I try to get to the fence without breaking the debris, but fail so I just destroy it. Didn't take me time to finish it.
