Did a fair few missions online tonight and now have about 9k, was wondering if it was worth buying cheapest tech disks and feeding them to my pm, how much technic do tech disks give? Or would feeding wands from creating/destroying force characters give more tech than the disks??

BTW whilst im here, many of you forces out there own a longbow? If so, how much pp does it use per shot and do you find them worth while to carry around or would an extra rod/wand be preferable??

6 Technic for 1 star tech discs and 8 Technic for 2 star tech discs. 4 from 1 star wands (from recreated forces).

Most people feed their pure Tech P.M.s the 1 star discs, occassionally augmenting their diets with 2 and 3 star wands either acquired through loot or purchased for a good price at a player shop.

I use a longbow because its good to stay back and shoot. I think its 8 or 12 PP and it has a high chance of a status effect. o.o

Seems easiest option is gonna be 1 star tech disks, recreating force characters gets to annoyig fr my liking http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Whats the cheapest tech disk and do many player shops have them? I tried searching player shops for tech disks once or twice but got nowt http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

There'd really be no reason for a player owned shop to have tech disks. They don't drop as loot so the only way they'd show up there is if someone bought them from the NPC vendors. That said a 1 star tech disc is 500 meseta. To reach 100 technic using this method you're going to be spending in excess of 800,000 meseta.

Ouch, well, im 1% there already if i spend my 9k http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Dang it, hmmmm might have to use dimates and what not in between to reduce the cost, not by much im sure. Only other thing I thought of doing was waiting till im a higher level and the new content hits and hopefully im doing high level missions and the meseta rolls in quick http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Thanks for the answers!

Honestly, the best method is to feed it dimates until it's in danger of building up to a full level of Striking, then feeding it disks or wands until it goes down, then repeating the process...

A little slower (hell, a lot slower) but also a lot cheaper.

me, I'm not TOO concerned about 'pure' Technic on my 450 PM (the best wands I'll be synthing will only be A rank after all!) so I just built my Striking up to 9 with dimates, let the Technic grow to 3 in the meantime, and then carefully fed it wands and technic disks to put the STriking to safe distance.

DO NOT let the Striking go to over 10 before it reaches level 20; doing so will mean you get a 420 instead of a 450. Though really, if you're going to have a Force, a 420 will be MUCH better for your character than having another techer around. If you're planning on having a cast or beast fighter, you should plan on giving them the 450 and feed your Force up a 410 or 420 PM so that you have some close-combat bodyguard to help you out if you have to solo.

Just sayin' is all. Plan your PMs ahead of time to match each character's needs and you won't have to use a PM Zero.
