What sword is Donoph using in the offline quest "The Retired Hunter"?

It looks really cool and I want to get it for my HUmar.

I would have put a pic of it up, but I can't because the US players can't upload their snapshots.

The sword looks a bit like Cloud Strife's Sword from FF7.

It's called the Zanba. Its description says something about being able to cut through anything in a single stroke, so that might mean it has the dim/shadow/dark/hell attribute.

Now what drops it and in which difficulty setting?

Its super really really rare (I say that cuz I haven't seen it except there). I haven't seen a player with that weapon yet from my playing experience.

Try finding it using the section ID that finds swords.

Nope, he isn't using a Last Survivor. The Last Survivor looks like a huge military knife without a handle.

It is the Zanba. Last Survivor isn't that damn big. And that sword is extremely rare... Give ya a hint though... Try running around Episode 2 some... You might just find what you're looking for.
