Dupe hack/exploit or one really lucky person?

I was looking around at shops today and come across a player named Bobby's shop. The PM is still stage one and the room is empty, so I'm guessing it's a level 1 character used for selling. Strange thing is that all they have for sale is a bunch of Svaltus Edge and some Meow Mustache.

Here is two pictures of it.

Also note the units to sell on the highlighted items.

Oh and this isn't ment to make everyone worried about hackers and what not. We don't need the Broomop thing all over again. I'm just curious if anyone else thinks this shop looks even the slightest bit odd.

Back on topic, is there anyway to report this guy? I know there is the number thing but he isn't around to get the number for his account.

Edit: Nevermind. It says a number on the bottom right corner of their shop ad. I'm guessing that's the account number, right? If so I'm going to report it because there is no way that's a legit inventory. Not after seeing the stacks of items are 90+ each.

Hmm... Early on in the JP version, there was a duping trick that was posted to 2ch. It is the only real instance of "hacking" that happened in the jp version (other than appearance changing). Though I don't know much about the duping trick, if I recall it required 2 people, I believe 1 of them didn't have to be PC, and it only worked for synthing items. But you could do a stack of like 90 synth items at a time. Its what caused the rollback on the JP servers.

I thought the fix was already on the US servers though. Hmm...

20022222 is the number on his shop ad if anyone else wants to report him also. At least that's the only number to go off by for the number you'd normally report someone by.

I agree, the fact that he is showcasing all those rares in his shop is proof positive that he's just a stupid child that came across a hack. Only fucking retards put out something like that for everyone to see. If I did that, which I don't ;P, i would only sell a few at a time, keeping the rest stored on a locked room mule character. Stupid or not, this does make it clear that duping is possible. His intention is probably to showcase that duping is possible, rather than actually trying to do this for profit. If he did things like marselines or carbons, you bet ppl will still try to argue that is legit. I dont think anyone would try to argue what he has done here is legit. This also means there is quite possibly a large number of players using this exploit for far less obvious activities.

Just search for Svaltus or Meow. There are only like 5 people selling Edges, Bobby is one. Easy enough to see and verify for yourself. He's there, and sitting at around 1000 of the things.

even with a billion meseta, i doubt 1000 svaltus/ mustache has even dropped yet combined in all drops. Even if they have, i doubt any one shop had more then a couple to sell. So, he couldnt have went shop to shop and eventualy got 1000 of em, thats just insane. Do the search and you might find about maybe 12 at a time (max) after you buy out, you still got 988 to go...ya, gonna take a long time to buy 1000 from player shops. meh, HAXORINGSONOFABIATCH!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, technically you aren't the hacker, but you aren't clean either.
If you know it's a hacked item & still buy it, then you are just as quilty. ;]
