I couldn't view the video for some reason, only listen. Someone was poinsoned and someone kept casting anti to no avail ... what was going on?

Yes there was, you probably just don't have the right codec to view it. Basically it's Bernie trying to cast Anti on TSFO-SnAPPLE, and failing miserably.

I noticed that too.

Also, did you know that Elly from the quest "Knowing One's Heart" is the same Elly that helps you out in EP2.

What codec are you using to encode this Snap?

***Just to be clear: When I write Media Player I'm referring to the player program. When I write Windows Media I'm referring to the codec packages***

Well I finally solved my problems with viewing various video files, including Snappuru's litle video here from at least several months ago.

Due to my heavily customized installation of Windows (and by that I do mean the OS is customized, not just the OS's settings) I can't do certain things that require a lot of activeX components that don't exist on my system. A result of this is that I can't upgrade to Windows Media 8 or 9.

It probably would have been easier and less painful to tickle Boomas, but I eventually did find the old 7.1 codecs. I had to poke through the Microsoft knowledge base until I found a bugfix article that linked to the codec download. Strangely enough, on my laptop I was given a very simple option to download & install Windows Media 7.1 when I tried to play a file encoded with it. My desktop machine steadfasty refused to do the same, requiring this wild goose chase.

Anyway, anyone else who thinks they're up-to-date but can't see this and other seemingly random videos ... try upgrading your codecs:

If you're using Media Player 6.4, try Windows Media 8, otherwise have fun looking for 7.

If you're using Media Player 7, 8, or 9, update to Windows Media 9.

If you don't have the latest DivX yet, make sure you pick it up from divx.com

Ahh, back in the days when I only had 45% hit combat mechguns X3. Neko has those now.
