Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. This, is just a thread dedicated to anyone who wants to talk about the Wii, and anything of relevance =)

One of my instructors told me to bring my Wii in, on the last day of class. I've only brought it in on two other occaisions, so far, heh.

Siriously tho, I still haven't been able to track down a Wii since launch. My friend, who was one space ahead of me in line, got the last one, and it's starting to drive me insane.

Easy solution: Be first in line.

I was, on Black Friday, and only had to wait in line for two and a half hours.

Or be sensible, and preorder from someone that can guarantee you a Wii. I preordered mine in early October, 'cause I knew the hype would be massive. Gawd I'm glad! I've practically not got off mine since I got it! And STILL not finished Zelda, with 34 hours play time!

On a side note, anyone know if American wii numbers and European wii numbers can communicate?

I just found out something interesting about Twilight Princess, and the different features between the Wii version and the GC version.

The Wii version is mirrored to the GC version, thus, not only is Link a righty, but the dungeons and whatnot are all "righty".

Well seeing as this is about Wii, I just cant wait till i get one, I went ot my brothers the other day and seen it stuck there near his TV, I was shocked when i seen it, and the thing is that my mind was talking, not me. My mind was saying "i need to play it!" and me, my mouth was wide open being very speechless. So no buts about it im getting one after christmas! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yes, thats how bad people can be when they got a Wii, trust me on this. 45% of the time on a Nintendo Wii can cause accidents and 55% of the time, you can be safe.

But what the heck im still getting one.

Well how in the hell do you throw the Wiimote through your tv, was the dude playing Mario Darts ?
And to what Ryuki said, I heard that aswell, they made all these minor changes in the Gamecube game and then for no reason they did the most awesome thing any game port has ever done - THEY MIRRORED THE UNIVERSE.

Dec 15, 2006, 10:44 PM
That is pretty awesome the more that I think about it. It's almost like it's a different dimention...

Anyone download any games from the Wii Channel yet?

Earlier this evening, I bought a Classic Wii Controller, and a 2000 Points Card. Games I "bought" were:

Mario 64
Gunstar Heroes

Gunstar is very fun, by the way.

trypticon
Dec 16, 2006, 09:08 AM
I have most of the games up for download on Anilmal Crossing already, which I can play just fine on the Wii. I was tempted to get Mario 64, but I already have Mario 64 DS, which is a much better version, in my opinion.

I don't know much about the games for the genesis, but from what I've read about them, most suck at the moment.

I figure Imight get F Zero, since I've not played it yet for the SNES.

At this time, you'll also need a wireless broadband connection going on in your house. If you don't have wireless, you can either purchase the wifi adapter for the DS, as it will also broadcast a wifi connection for your Wii to use. You could also just wait until early 2007 when Nintendo will be releasing a wired adapater for the Wii.

That's great that it's nice, Maskim, but following that up with it being able to play PSU doesn't help your case much since PSU sucks donkey balls.

If friend seemed to have a little problem with his Wii. When he turns it on, the controler isn't responding and the power light is yellow. The contoler is still reciving power (as the batteries are in and that button on the back of the controle you can press to test the batteries works) but it's just not reacting on the TV. Everything was plugged in corectly. Any ideas? It was workin' fine before.

trypticon

That button isn't for testing the batteries, it's to sync up the wii mote with the system.

There is a portion of the instruction booklet that instructs you step by step on how to do this in the instance that you buy a new wii mote, or the one that came packed in loses sync. This will happen every time he changes the batteries on the wii mote.

On the front of the Wii, there is a little door that opens. This door has a RED button positioned above (or next to, depending on how the Wii is set up) the slot for the flash card. Turn on the Wii manually by pressing the POWER button until the LED turns green. Press the Sync button on the front of the Wii, and the Sync button located next to the battery housing on the Wii mote at the same time. You don't have to hold them for very long. The LEDs on the Wii mote will blink for a while, and then the LED position will jump to whatever count that controller is to the system.

That should do it for him. If it doesn't, have him READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR DIRECTIONS!
