synthing +10 grinders?

Possible dumb question:

I have synthed a bunch of grinders now, found during missions. They range in value from +1 to +5, but I know they go to +10. Is there any way to know what the "+" value of a grinder is before synthing?

Is it variable? What affects it?

offline is +1 - +5

i think its is random
i just synthed a bunch of b grinders got a few +2 +4 and +10

So any grinder (even ones bought from the store) can end up as +10?

I synthed 5 at once and they all came out the same value (+5, lucky me). Should I have done it 1 by 1?

PS: sorry for all the questions, but I have luck 3 day coming up, and I'm going to roll the dice with some grinds...

If you synth multiple grinders at the same time, all the grinders will be the same. It's up to you what's better, they both are basically the same. Synth 5 grinders, they could all be +10, or you could just synth 1 +10.....or you could synth 5 grinders, and have them all be +1, rather than just 1 +1 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

i honestly have yet to see luck affect grinder synthing my self
i synthed grinders on a 3* day and got +5's
today 2* and got +10's

I usually synth 5 at a time, but I don't think it really makes too big of a difference. They all come out the same when you do multiple synths at the same time, so I always hope that I get lucky and get 5 +8 or higher in one bulk synth. More times than not, though, I end up with +1 to +5.

Sorry, I was not clear. Luck affects chance of grinding, so I wanted to get a buch of +10 grinders to maximize my chance of success on the luck 3 day.

I just synthed some +9 C Grinders today, it was awesome! I Grinded my Flourescent Bulbs up to 7 and 8 (didn't dare go any higher) But now they are more powerful than a Crea Saber http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif HAHAHA

i dont think they do cause i had lvl 100 PM and i nver got +10's i reset her and now ive gotten +10's twice
