So since I found me some Rappy Noel using that "pick and choose" map method, I just tried it on Moatoob, Vally of Carnage....It took me a whole hour of dedication but it was worth it, Got me 3 Jao and some Meeeaaaoowwww!!! LOL!!!

....That should scare those people trying to sell it for 500K a pop http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif HAHA!!!...Still think people are gonna buy it now? ROTFLMFAO!!!!

...That's why I don't like this system of getting rares, it makes people take unfair advantage...so at least with knowing how these maps work with a LOT of hard work you can still get what you want...and not pay all your hard Earned Meseta.....((can't even imagine how long it would take to get 500K)) sheesh!

Wow, so that's how it works? I had heard rumors that there was a rare enemy spawn "map" that could get thrown at you, rather than the PSO style every enemy could be a rare one. I guess this solves that question.

Just a note....it can be discouraging if you don't have the patience and hold on for the long haul so to speak....might even want to try it on Unsafe Passage first in Linear Lines just to get you excited enough to go for the Jao....I think I got lucky with the Jao cuz after finding my First set of Rappy Noel on LL and then trying again, it only took an 1 the first time and the second try after 2 hours I gave up....then again just 1 hour to find the Jao, so....

just letting you know

here is the pic I took of the Rappy Noel I found, first and only so far, both dropped christmas trees, woohoo!

http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o316/darkhaloseph/RAPPYNOEL.jpg

also, i would have taken a pic of the Jao I found but after taking over 40 of the Rappy's I found and only one or two being somewhat recognizable, I decided just to forget it...I mean, I don't have the PC version, it's XBOX, so screenshots are not a possibility http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

At the rate they are updating things on psupedia.org, I'm sure it will be a matter of days before they have that Ether http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif (which is to say they go really fast at updating it)

I should also state, that while this may seem awesome at first, after awhile it becomes so mind numbing that you almost can't take it anymore and are left in shock when you actually run across that elusive monster you've been looking for. I basically did it once with the Rappy and Jao just because after 42 levels I had never seen a one, so now that I have seen them I'm gonna continue leveling my character and playing as normal.....that's just me though, I am actually putting the word out with this so it will help people get what "they" want which is to see the rare creatures and get rares and at the same time it will drive down the price of those rares that may seem out of reach, or, you can just snag one yourself with enough patience....... It will only be a matter of time before all of them are figured out and after I've seen all of them once I'll will just play as normal........

...it's just nice that I can explore all aspects of the game now.......I never saw a single Pal Rappy in PSO (So Sad http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif ) And that was after 310hours put into the game. Which is just wrong! Ok, nuff said....Happy Hunting http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif ****Those with a PC Please screenshot!**** I wish I could http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

This is what I got after cranking it all through Google Translator and doing a bit of touching up on it on my own.

A1: Downhill, front/right divergence
Block 1: 3x Ageeta + 2x Ageeta
Block 2: 3x Ageeta, 3x Ollaka (Box spawn)
Rare: 2x Rappy - Block 2

B1: Left/right divergence
Block 1: 4x Ageeta, 1x Kamatoze
Block 2: 2x Ageeta, 1x Gohmon
Rare: 3x Rappy - Block 2

B2: Left/right divergence
Block 1: 2x Gohmon + 1x Gohmon, 3x Ollaka
Block 2: Unknown
Block 3: Unknown
Rare: 4x Rappy - Block 3

C1: "Rahoun" Entrance
Block 1: 3x Gohmon + 3x Ollaka
Block 2: 3x Gohmon
Block 3: Unknown
Rare: 4x Rappy - Block 3

D1: Long Hall
Block 1: 3x Gohmon
Block 2: Unknown
Block 3: Unknown
Rare: 4x Rappy - Block 3; 2x Lutus Jigga - Block 4

Quick edit: Though the Rare listings don't list Lutus Jiggas for every layout, the JP Wiki states that, in a nutshell, if you get Rappies, you got Lutus Jiggas. Dunno if that's factual, but...

I'm just sorry that I couldn't clarify the definitions more. I'll have to go visit Agata and see what the first rooms look like. Clearly, D1 is quite obvious (durr http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif) but the others aren't. What the hell is a "rahoun" entrance?

Block?
or is it the one with the stairs at the begining?

Rahoun = Raffon, like the Parum field base. I don't know exactly what that means though.

If I'm reading this right... the "easiest" way to get Rappies to spawn would be to try on the B rank unsafe passage.

B-X

Block1
Pannon x3

Block2
T's Right side:
Pannon x5

Block3
Delsaban x3 Pannon x2

Rare monster
Block 3: Delsaban x3 Rappy x2

So if looking at the wording correctly...

If your first set of spawns has only 3 pannons and no additonal spawns, then that's the map that will spawn rappys.

The A/B/C on the listing does not refer to the mission difficulty.

Remedy
Dec 15, 2006, 04:06 AM
No no, Nefarious, you're not. The A/B/C/Whatever are just different first-room layouts. The Number/X indicates the possible spawn lists.

DarkSeph
Dec 15, 2006, 04:21 AM
.......I guess I should have clarified that whole chart reading, it can be a little confusing. X is the one you want to get, regardless of what difficulty you choose....whether it's A, B, C.....you want to get A-X, B-X, or C-X.....any others such as A-1, A-2, A-3, B-1, B-2, etc...you don't want those variations. So if monsters aren't falling into the X Catagory, you Abandon mission and try again until they do.....ok?

So get this!

Now that Valley of Carnage S is out...

And since S-rank Jaggos drop the amazingly awesome Giga/Bullet PP Save...

Rangers can now go hunt themselves a Giga/Bullet PP Save as of... NOW.

Anyone for Valley S? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Uhm... I don't get something... are the 1, 2, 3 spawns the first ones in the first room ?

DarkSeph
Dec 15, 2006, 04:55 PM
.....1, 2, 3 Spawns are the ones you want to avoid....always go for Spawn X....and at the begining of each block the first monsters you see are the ones your looking for to see if things will go your way or to abandon mission and try again....it's not that hard, just try it and you'll get it in no time...
