Beta version is available for anyone who wishes to try it out http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Forgot to mention one caveat:

To utilize Adobe Photoshop CS3 beta, customers require a serial number from either Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Creative Suite® 2, Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio, Adobe Design Bundle, Adobe Web Bundle or Adobe Video Bundle.

"Anyone who wishes to try it out" indeed. :<
Well, someone else will have to tell me what makes this version worthwhile since I don't have CS2. So far, I haven't been convinced to abandon my dear Photoshop 6, though I have CS as well.
I still love you, Adobe, really. Kinda.

Bah at those system requirements.

Photoshop 7 is still the best.

CS2 is awsome can do alot more than the prior versions, however with a documented list of changes in whats better I doublt CS3 has somthing to make me swich.

Alot of CS2 isnt utilized by people anyways including me like vanishing point, very powerfull but not often do you really need somthing like that.

OMG one thing tho is smart objects, thats a very nice additoin you guys are missing out on with the older versions.

Unless they've ditched that god-awful brush system they introduced in PS7 that manages not to work worth crap with wacom tablets, I'm about as interested as I wasn't in CS. *is a PS6 stuckist*

My hero!
I hate, hate, loathe the new--I guess it's not new anymore--brush engine. Maybe I could get it to behave like good ol' Sexy Six, but why bother?

Yep, as a painter, I'm not looking for fancy tricks; just let me lay down some color and I'm good to go.

Hey! We shrunk a tool bar, and added probable other things! Lets charge 700 for it! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
Unless i missed all the new specs, this doesn't seem too important to update from CS 1 <_<

I doubt I will take advantage of any new features (aside from the interface obviously). They hit the point quite some time ago where the program is saturated with everything I could possibly need from it at this point in time.

I will probably get the full version eventually for free though through my mom's work. Just like always. Hooray not having to spend exorbitant amounts of money! XD
