I'm quitting. Reason: Hackers.

I came into my room, was feeding my p.m. Then *poof* he is reset to level 0. And renamed. My p.m's new name was "---"

Immediately, I turned around and copied the guy in my shop's i.d. number: 20028378 Report if you wish, I don't care I quit.

If they can do this it will be no time before hackers ruin the game.

IT IS REAL, ITS NOT RUMORS!

I was one of the guys who believed it was all bull crap made up and a consipracy or misunderstanding, that there are no hacking. But I witnessed it first hand. Ruined the game for me.

I quit.

Mod edit: PM name removed.
Obviously, you've been a target by those people.

Mod needs to remove the pm name, and ignorance is bliss

Well, the best way to get your message across is to cut their bottom line by cancelling, yes. I would still report it and let them know that you are quitting because they are not acting in accordance with your needs as a consumer.

I already wrote Sega Team a message that I doubt they will read. I already told them I have canceled my subscription, And I already have.

Thoridan, I am sorry for your loss. People who ruin games like this should be very ashamed of themselves. Perhaps it is just me seeing the world too black and white, but I just cannot understand why on earth people WANT to do this kind of stuff. If this stuff is happening, it is only a matter of time before either the hackers take control and it is DC pso all over again, or sega puts its foot down and stomps out this exploitation. I just hope their weekly updates are bringing more than just new stuff, but fixing these problems...

wow, thank god sega is fixing these problems.
ANd dont "Dikky, you are wrong" me. I know firsthand that they are. I have several friends on the inside...if you catch my drift.
But that sucks man, but really thats no reason to quit. So your pm was reset? So what. In pso it was worse. At least all 51 of your characters levels werent gone. But eh, you already canceled. Your decision. GL with whatever you are doin next

I love how in PSU if you loose something so little like a PM, people want to quit. in PSO, people have many times corrupted, high levels too, but they keep playing.

I think one of the reasons these "hackers" make such a stink is because alot of you jackasses romantisise them by calling them hackers. It makes their virtual nutz grow 2x their size when they're considered "hackers", and they enjoy the attention. They're (largely) not hackers though. They're cheaters, and nothing more. Most of these people who are even comming up with the cheat methods and codes do nothing but scan memory addresses looking for prime values to change. Hell I wouldn't doubt that half of them don't even know how to use the "Ping" utility.
