GC : No KB...a good thing??

We all want a keyboard for Game Cube. Heck, we want it for others too. I have one, but what fun is it to type to a bunch of mimes? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif However, for those of us who have played the DC version...are there some who really shouldn't have a keyboard? Right now, all the attention grabbers have been effectively muted ; except for the maniac auto-phraser. Is it just better for only the most hard-core people to responsibly utilize the keyboard to communicate??
