Should I bomb my PM and make it into an Armor one?

Currently on my Fortetecher, I have a PM with a 34 in Technic.

However, my good buddy Chasm told me that an armor PM would be more useful for me on a soloing scale. Since it uses a shotgun, he suggested I ditch my current PM and make it on another character.

After sinking all that money into my current PM, think it would be worth it to change it all for that? Or will the 450 be just as good (once they patch it's AI, of course)?

Make an armor PM on an alt. character... you'll be able to make better staffs and wands for your force (though even at 100 TECH, it's still difficult, but the least difficult). I'm currently making a pure strike, pure range, and pure tech and my friend is making a pure armor.
