European PSO gamecube release date confirmed.

Nintendo have issued the release date for pso in europe on the gamecube as being the 1st quarter of 2003, this means that we europeans will be playing it in or before the end of March.
Not long to wait now yipppeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

hm.. europe waited for DC-version 1 how long? a year? and for version 2? hm.. dunno, more than half a year, i think. so less than half a year from the latest release (us-version) could be seen as an improvement ^_^

its said the cube goes 'online' the same day as x-box live gets officially purchaseable in europe. but that doesnt mean microsoft is releasing pso-xbox as a starter title...

PSOX comes out on January somethingTH in Japan. So, since the game is already translated, I suppose XBox version will come out around then too (please earlier!).

Europe got v1 3-4 months after the initial Japanese release. As for v2, Europe had to wait 9 months. 1st quarter would be a very optimistic release date, in regard to past release dates for the European versions of PSO.

i would also like to know about any hl-fee. if yes, i could import now and have fun allready instead of waiting for... well, nothing i couldnt have right now.

so far, even for x-box there is no official statement if there is a fee or not. afaik.


but anyway...
the servershutdown mentioned was not meant for the pso-servers but every other DC-online game's servers. i guess "yokatta yo ne" sums up my mood about this pretty well ^_^

Ive got a Gamecube PSO bundle on order from goblin, its been on order since october, the games been out since november, im about to give up and cancell my order, and wait until the EU release ( if its feb/march)

Just about everywhere i look has a march release date on there release schedules. Also Nintendo intend to announce there plans for online gaming around the same time as the PSO release so things are starting to look a bit brighter and all those cold showers look to have payed dividends. lol lol
