MERRY CHRISTMAS

You know, there seemed to be a lack of holiday cheer on PSOW, so I decided to amend that

I mean, the best holiday of the year needs some more recognition, am I right?

Any fancy pants holiday traditions that go on in your home?

At my house, we open our presents on Christmas Eve, but at night (So, that means in a couple hours for me http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif), and we have a 2-course meal; part 1 is a Shmorgasboard (Spelling is... not right) where basically, we make sandwhiches. This is fucking TRADITION. I love it. Then we go to church for the candlelight service (Which is actually right now, my mom didn't want me going cause of my fever), then part 2 is fancy pants ham. Then after everyone's finished, the traditional passing around of presents.

Then we sleep. And I always have to wake up before 7:07, cause that's when I THOUGHT my actual birthday was, but it's actually 7:14, but the point is, I have to wake up for my last few moments of being 17. That's usually traditional for me, except for the 17 part.

Legal Adult in Ontario: 13 hours, 2 minutes and counting.

usually we do it right after church, around this time. But this year church is at 11 pm (yea you heard me right...) so we are openning them tomorrow around 10 am. Plenty of time to keep me awake. Little annoyed that my brother seemed to be a brat about it. Despite him getting everything he wanted XD But it was all good. I told my brother he'd be pleasantly surprised with what I got him, cause he thought I was getting him Red Rescue Team (Pokemon) and lo and behold, bam, Link to the Past! Cause I know we've been wanting it FOREVER.

I spent most of the day hanging Christmas lights, making food for tomorrow, wrapping gifts, and installing/configuring a forum for the Wiki.

I should be in bed - but I can't sleep for some reason. Meh, I have to be up at 5 am anyhow to put the ham in.

I also got one of my Christmas presents early. Er.. well... I guess you could say it was 17 years late. When I was a kid I watched the Berlin Wall fall - and my parents apperantly ordered me a small chunk of the wall as a momento. It was put up so nothing happened to it - and my Mom just recently ran across it and gave it back to me.
