A rank weapon grinding

Mayrod+0=575TAP and 1260PP
Mayrod+5=611TAP and 1401PP
Hourod+0=622TAP and 1296PP
Hourod+3=644TAP and 1389PP
Halarod+0=673TAP and 1368PP

Comparisions:
Mayrod+5 to Hourod+0 = +105PP and -11TAP
Mayrod+5 to Halarod+0 = +33PP and -62TAP
Hourod+3 to Halarod+0 = +21PP and -29TAP

My A rank Grinding Sucesses:
Sucessfully grinded 4 A rank mayrods to +5

My A rank Grinding Failures:
Broke from 1->2 using a +7 grinder during level 2 luck
Broke from 3->4 using a +9 grinder during level 3 luck

Any importer can add their own sucesses and failures.
I would hopefully like this topic to get an idea about what is safe to use when grinding and whether it is even worth grinding A rank weapons
in the first place.

from the stats it looks like it isn't worth it to grind A rank but those are just force weapons but the melee and rangers weapon could also be the same.

Grinding A grade weapons sucks so much. I've practically destroyed at least 3 million meseta worth of weaponry, with such low returns. Several of them I made explode just going to +1 (Lesson: don't even think about grinding anything A without level 3 luck, it's the only time you get one perfect grind, and that's it).

Kubara A bows grinded nicely, and for me, are a good utility weapon after getting to +5. It has only 1 atp more than an Alteric grinded to 6, but about 100 more accuracy, which makes life as a WT a bit easier.

IMO the only weapons worth grinding are Sabers, spears, any form of firearm, Kubara anything and possibly Claire replicas. Anything else, don't even try, the gains just don't amount to being worth it.

this is in JP. I'd also like to add to this by saying that Claire replicas don't get any PP for upgrading. Thats not saying its bad to grind them, they can really use the ATP boost.

do they get ATA boost when ground?
follow up - does any weapon get a bump in ATA?

No, and no. Grinding just boosts ATP and PP. *wish* it boosted ATA, but alas...
