WTF?!

I mean, it's not terribly bad, but it is still lame. Why even level the thing to 21? For 1 more point in accuracy and ATP? Pure bull...

Or maybe it is just my freeze twin bullets? Tell me that's just it. I got it to lvl 22 and still see SE2.

EDIT: And what about crossbow ammo? If they get SE3 at lvl 21, gonna drop the twins for a while and focus on them and bows (for SE4).

Elemental % increases a bit I believe. Also many people will still want to get as much atp as they can since dualies have excellent Damage per second. I find dualies can freeze heritic robots faster than SE4 rifles .. they really are decent against more than two-thirds of the enemies you face.

Just accept it as a balancing issue I suppose.

If it didn't go up at level 11, it won't go up at 21. Thats the rule. And crossbows start at SE1, get SE2 and 11, and SE3 at 21. But that increase in elemental makes a huge difference in damage.

Yea I guess I see the point of handguns, making them SE3 would just be overkill, since they already boast a nice 24+ percentage elemental, and I can definitely see the difference. Crossbows just look tasty, mass freezing/shocking with incredible damage.

The only real reason I went Guntecher was for the usefulness of crossbow (decent damage with SE3) and wand (Resta/Reverser Shifta/Deband) combo. Twin guns were the showoff, fun weapons, so I shouldn't get all bent out of shape that they don't have SE3.

Twin handgun bullets do start to gain 2% atp per lvl 21+ like rifles. So another 20% atp is worth it.

but Lv3 SE for ranger classes would have made twin handguns less useless

Bah, twin handguns are nowhere near useless!

As a Fortegunner, I find them useless =/

Well, a fortegunner's opinion is a LITTLE biased. . .

"Twin pistols or some mugafuggin h00ge cannon?

As a figunner, they can actually be usefull for dealing damage on things. Especially against flyers, that only takes 50% dmg from all melee attacks. They also work alot better due to the higher ATP that the figunner class provides.

You're much better of with a rifle as a fortegunner though.

I'm now assuming crossbows have 2 SE also at lvl 21, right? Argh this sucks.

crossbows start at SE 1, and get to SE 2 at level 11, so I believe they get to SE 3 at level 21... being a fighgunner, after 20 is not exactly my concern

not sure what se3 is really good for, I know you need se4 for the big stuff like tengdogs and other big mobs, thats when I really like to see a ranger with a se4 burn rifle, and se2 on the handguns takes down the large groups of mobs like robots or even the guys in S rank linear line with shock.

so whats inbetween SE2 and SE4 that really makes the diffrence? (except maybe landind effects on SE2 mobs easier, but last I checked higher SE level doesnt apply it easier only allows higher tier mobs to be effected)

It's the effect. Higher lvl SE effects = longer duration.
Higher lvl SE DPS = more damage per tick.

Higher chance of the SE working, too.

Ok whew, sounds awesome, just wasn't exactly sure (I think Twin Handguns got SE2 at lvl 11 and it didn't go to SE3).

Crossbows FTW. Man I love these things.
