  1. Yeah, I remember I had spent 1000FUN trying to get something, got 1000 more FUN from the retail Vita package, and in the span of 2-3 days, I had gained 800+ FUN! Trying to get that Dante's Usamimi ribbon (any at this point), since they took the rabbit ears and rabbit tail out of circulation by the time I got the Vita version. Yet Cat/Fox ears are free?! That's....Rabbsist! >_<

    I think on my first day, someone wanted me to give them 100FUN outright. I was in shock, but my noobness turned them off. ^_^

    My party usually consists of NPCs since when I finally get to play, everyone's asleep or in the process of doing so....or I have to work. TT_TT
  2. You and your FUN boost... I completely forgot about that.

    Don't be surprised if people spam you with random Good Job comments, like some of my friends do with me. The upside is you also gain FUN when others send you those comments.

    The Partner Character system works differently in PSO2. What you have to do is set up a Partner Character by going to the Visiphone and selecting the second option (フレンドパートナー). The first option within sets up your NPC and the second allows you to check your current registered NPC. Set up the behavior traits in the first option and when you're done, confirm by pressing that blue button at the bottom of the window. To make sure, check your NPC after registering to see if that NPC's stats/weapon setup matches what you currently have.

    And that's it. You will have to update your NPC from time to time if you level up quickly or gain a rare weapon you just wanna show off. Anyone who has you on their Friend List can use your NPC. Simply put, sending a friend request also sends the ability to use your NPC, should they accept it. I think you might be a bit confused by now, as I'm not that great at explaining things and tend to run on.

    Y'know, I do try to join your parties, but you already have so many friends that they're always full when I try to join lately. It's a very good thing, though.
  3. I actually found that out yesterday. Since I have the Premium set, it seems I acquire a FUN boost too! Trying to acquire the Usamimi ribbon band! >_<

    I've been using friends' character data and gave a friend a Good Job for waiting to wait for me and another party member while she was at the boss entrance and for her help earlier. Speaking of which, she was wondering how to send character data to friends. I apparently sent her data of Rabbie (prior to my finalizations on her design), and I have NO idea how I did it! @_@

    And it feels so empty without you. So I use your player data often! ^_^
  4. Sorry for not being able to answer your question the other day on obtaining FUN. If you haven't found out already, you can get FUN by logging into the game on consecutive days, using friends' partner characters, and sending Good Job comments to other players. There are also tickets that can net you FUN, but those are usually distributed after certain events.

    By the way, about those screenshots, the net needs more ME.
  5. Yep. I suggest you bookmark the home page of the site I linked you for any updates. Plus, that 30-Day Shop Ticket will help.
  6. They have them in circulation?! Oh wow! I'll really have to be on top of those! @_@

    Yeah, I'll just stick to creating Rabbie and Ramune for now. At least they are perfectly doable with the current settings.
  7. You get more hairstyles by getting the tickets via FUN (Another form of in-game currency) scratch or AC scratch. Unfortunately, only a few are released each update and until you're able to gain a decent amount of Meseta, you won't be able to buy them. Especially the styles that are no longer in circulation.

    You really might be better off with your original plan by creating Sara later rather than now.
  8. I know the feeling. There's barely any room in this apartment for me to go all out on how I want things arranged.

    I JUST got around to that and Blace helped in the Tech Support forum. I was having trouble and it was all because I had 2 capitalized letters. And my player ID is "GameHopper Unit", thank you. ^_-

    Now...to decide who I'm going to create. The hair options can't really do a good job replicating Sara. Do you unlock hairstyles and or accessories later on? Cuz if so.....*_^
  9. Heh. I was hoping to get a desktop myself last year, but when you're sharing a room with someone else, there isn't much room for one.

    From what I've read, your SEGA ID and your player ID are two different things. After logging in with your SEGA ID and selecting Ship 2, you're prompted to enter a player ID. You could have "ramunerabbie" as your SEGA ID (I think you still need to type in all lowercase letters at the login screen) and "SarasASpoiledLilPrincess" as your player ID. The other players will only be able to see your player ID, so there's really no need to be paranoid about it.
  10. Well you keep saying "I'm getting a new computer" for 5 years and tell me you don't feel the least bit crazy because it never happens. XD
    Was originally going to get a cheap laptop, but looking at building one instead. Upgradeable.

    Well not exactly hard, but I had to work for it to get the amount I have. (Hey, Sara's a Princess, she HAS to be loaded ^_-) Emilia outfit! Go for it!!!

    Thanks! My 16GB card that I'm using exclusively for my JP account is coming today (so much for getting here on Monday; love Amazon Prime...when it's the USPS. Turns 2 day shipping into 1!), so I'll be signing in today! Think I might make Rabbie first. I'd make Sara, but it'd be weird since the account's basically "RamuneRabbie" XD
    Might try making her on the offline creator though!
  11. Don't feel too bad. I've had to use a 1999-like PC for six years 'til about February of last year. Then I got my laptop while I was working in New York.

    Earning Meseta was hard back in PSP2? I guess you didn't do Gurhal Heroes much; I've five characters holding the maximum amount in my Infinity save due to continual spamming. Either way, you're gonna have to grind even more in PSO2. By the way, this outfit is what I'm saving up for now. Look familiar?

    Initially, I was gonna say that it'd be a bad idea for you to use my player ID number, but it looks like only the invitee can earn the badges. Good thing too; I would only earn four in my current state if I was able. My player ID is 10283657. Enter that in the dialog box that appears right after selecting "Create a new character".

    I wouldn't get too worried about Ship 2 filling up, but it has happened once before when I was trying to re-import my character into the Open Beta Test. You're getting your copy very soon, so I think the chances of you getting shut out are low.
  12. I want a new PC. I've been bumming off this old PowerBook G4 for 9 years now! Time to upgrade! >_<

    I see, so I'll have to save a lot of Meseta! That was hard to come by in PSP2, so I can only imagine how it is in this game! ^_^;

    That's not a bad idea selling some of the outfits. I'll have to think about it. And thanks for linking that starer guide.

    I probably won't get the game until the beginning of next week, but once I sign on, can I use you for the Friend Invitation System? :-3
    I just hope Ship 2 doesn't fill up either, because Ship 1 has sailed apparently! >_<;
  13. The Special Package comes with a 30-day Premium Set ticket, so you'll get your room and shop. I want a Vita now; It seems it'd be more comfortable playing on one rather than a laptop.

    If you're not a premium player, grinding for Meseta is the only option to get new outfits. You'll have to save a few million for each new content update if you're going for them.

    While you can buy them with AC, you don't choose which one you want. They come in AC Scratch Cards, which run for 2,000AC for an 11-pack, and you just hope you get the one you want. If not, you could always sell it off if you can. There're Gold AC Scratch cards that only contain outfits, but they run for 5,000AC for an 11-pack.

    Edit: Looks like the Special Package also comes with your choice of two of the eight starter outfits from PSP2 and the Clarita Mag. If you only want one of the outfits, choose a female non-CAST outfit for some quick Meseta. Also, a starter guide has been posted.

    It seems that the Vita version does have the Friend Invitation System. If you have someone's player ID number, you can enter that so both you and the other player can get Arks Badges when you level to 10, 20, 30, and 40 in each of the three starting classes. They're mainly redeemed for accessories, but it would also seem that you can get the PSP2 starter outfits by getting said badges. This would be the better way, since the outfits currently run for 10.5M in the player shops. I highly recommend you do this, especially since you'll have a shop. However, it's definitely not mandatory.
  14. That's awesome! Hopefully you can find her! I'm not sure if the person I'm looking for will be playing the JP or US versions, but considering she may in fact be Japanese or has knowledge of the language IRL, chances are good!

    I'm just getting AC for the additional character slots. I did pre-order the Special Package version of the Vita game and will send for it on Thursday. Might get it on Saturday which would be ideal. I think it comes with Premium stuff, so you may have a hide away yet! ^_-
    Reminds me since I tend to play at work when it's slow, with the hospital's slow internet I'm not sure how PSO2 will fare. I've been successful with PSP2/i...only time will tell I guess. Having a shop sounds tempting though.

    Awww, that's an awesome outfit! So you have to grind for Meseta to get them or you can buy them outright with AC?
  15. I'm also hoping to reunite with someone; The person who taught me everything I know about PSP2. I swear, if it wasn't for her, I'd have quit way before I met you.

    So you're gonna be an AC player, huh? Are you planning to purchase the Premium Set? It'd be pretty nice if you had your own room that I can hide away into when I'm AFK. And seeing as how you're busy often, having your own shop will definitely help you get some quick Meseta while you're away.

    Also, you wouldn't have to grind as much for the new outfits that release from time to time. I splurged on a new outfit a few days ago and am working to get my Meseta to a decent amount for the March 6th update.
  16. Sara was actually just planned for PSP2/i, but people liked her so I want to bring her and Nina back. Not sure how well Sara will play in regards to PSO2's changes, but I'm willing to give it a try!
    Nina because there's a certain someone from PSP2 I'm hoping I can reunite her with if this person is getting PSO2. She said she got a Vita and then slowly disappeared from PSP2 a year ago. They had a great Big Sister-Little Sister dynamic (self appointed Big Sister), and I'd love to have more adventures with her!

    If their accepting foreign cards, that's great (not for my wallet though ^_-), but I'll remain cautiously optimistic. They DO want money, but you know how Japanese some companies can think in regards to foreigners.

    Great! I can't wait to team up with this new girl! She's cute!
    You'll have to show my the ropes, specially since the Vita won't have a translation patch to fall back on. ^_^;;;;
  17. What...? No Sara?

    Actually, I've never purchased AC in PSO2. The only time I've ever had any was during the CBT nearly a year ago. I've heard that SEGA has been accepting foreign cards again, so you might want to look into that. If not, then you might wanna refer to this thread. It seems legitimate.

    I haven't played the game for a while, but now that I've a replacement hard drive for my laptop, it's about time that I pick the game back up. Soon, you'll have a new ally to fight alongside with.
  18. I pre-ordered the Vita version of PSO2, so sometime the beginning of next month, I'll have the ability to play this game! Not sure who I'll start with but it'll probably be Ramune and then Rabbie since my SegaID is pretty much both their names. ^_^;

    So it's 700¥ to make additional character slots? So with 3 additional characters that's....2100¥! What service do you use for AC?
  19. Oh heavens no! I wouldn't skip work just for that!

    But I do have this weekend and all of next week off (vacation time), so I can catch up on stuff!!!

    This weekend will be busy with catching up on Birthday stuff since I've been extremely busy this week! @_@

    I'll keep that IRC room in mind! Thanks again for all your help!
  20. Just try not to call in sick. And if you need people to party with, you might wanna check into the IRC channel I told you about during the evening times. Several Infinity players come in at the time, sometimes.
