lol I think the most important thing is just to keep having fun with the game. It is a pretty alright place though, I no longer go to tournaments and such but I still go down regularly to play KOF XIII

Lol, that's one of the other reasons I quit. Newer games are catered to an entirely different audience than from what I'm used to. I might sound old when I say this, but they're just not the same anymore. Either way though enough about fighting games, hope to see you on PSO2!
Yeah, fighting games can be really technical with timing, frame counts, and all that. I actually don't pay attention to the frame data and learning 1-2 frame input combos. I don't have the patience for it, but I do learn easier combos and usually have pretty good offense/defense. I tried to get into Marvel vs. Capcom 3, can do some pretty nice stuff in it, but over all... I dislike the game. I can't understand how people can "compete" in it, especially when they removed things like tech rolling (so you can get OTG comboed repeatedly), and have such broken things in it. In some ways, it's more broken than Marvel vs. Capcom 2, so I really only play it casually. Last game I took somewhat serious, fighting wise, was also Calamity Trigger (played with Taokaka )... but I bought Continuum Shift earlier this year... haven't played much of it yet... Anyhow!!! Lol, nice to see you back in the PSO/PSU scene again. Definitely looking forward to PSO2 myself... hope it makes its way stateside later this year... failing that, I hope the Japanese server/game has an English language option like PSO did.
I also remember you telling me how much work it was going to be learning fighting games right before I quit PSU. It really took me about 3 years to fully realize that.
After I stopped playing PSU I got pretty serious about Accent Core, and then moved on to Calamity Trigger when everyone else moved on. Although I did play a bunch of different games on the side like MBAA/NGBC/FUC. More or less just really excited for PSO2, like everyone else!

I've been alright! I got pretty heavily into fighting games for the last few years, but now I'm out of it lol. I remember seeing "sodaboy" on SRK a couple times, but didn't want to say anything since I didn't know if it was the same person or not.
Haha, I do remember you, we played a bit of PSU together then you vanished. All is well, though, where have you been? (I rarely check my messages on here.
