Yeah, I've gotten more picky on condition over the years myself. Anything that doesn't look like I personally took care of it, is a pretty straightforward pass. A Full JP collection....that's quite the endevour. But pretty cool none the less. Already half(?)way there from your pics alone! Yeah, I was originally going to get the US version, but since I already had it on Playstation, I decided to get the JP version instead. Even then, it was hard to find. But glad I got it over with. My copy of X4 didn't have a spine card though. Come to think of it, Fighting Vipers, Puyo Puyo Tsu and Oshaberi Parodius: Forever with Me, are the other JP titles I have that don't have a spine card. You wouldn't have extras of those would you? The other games did have them though. Castlevania/Dracula X was interesting since it was originally a game a friend bought for me while he was in Japan and was technically my first Saturn game when I didn't own one at the time. ^_^; The case could have been better but the disc was fine and it had a spine card which was new to me at the time. Not sure the condition of it now (it's packed away in a box), but I want to say it's in good shape, LOL! I check out YAJ auctions more than I check ebay when it comes to import games. Then again, I use proxy services like Shopping Mall Japan and Buyee/Tenso, so ultimately the prices for using their services are more likely close to the eBay prices when all said and done huh?
Back in the day I would pick up anything I could find cheap as well, nowadays Im much more anal about it. Only mint/near mint and complete haha Im going for a full JP collection, so I have a bunch of mediocre and uncommom games. x.x I see Rockman x4 from time to time, but Megaman 8 is hard as hell to find complete in good condition, Luckily you already got yours I have a BUNCH of spare spine cards, if you have some we may trade, Theres around 100 games in my collection still missing the spines. Do you shop on YAJ or on ebay?
It's ok! Just taken aback when someone mentioned Saturn games so casually. And awww, shucks. Mine doesn't hold a candle to yours, but thanks! It's ironic but those 4 on the bottom I probably would never pick up later on in my life since I tend to get things more or less complete. But back then, I didn't care about anything but cheap games and well...I can say I played Guardian Heroes, Sega Rally, Fighters Megamix and Night Warriors despite the condition I got 'em! ^_^; And yeah Keio Flying Squadron 2 is a 2D masterpiece! <3 Nice pickups btw. Some pretty obscure games I don't see too many talk about even in Saturn discussion topics. And again, that collection. You could start a Saturn library (although I wouldn't recommend it for obvious reasons ^_-)! Nice Capcom/SNK collection too! I forgot I DID pick up Rockman X4 as well. That one is pretty tough to find complete and in good condition even in JP auctions I found. Forgot if mine had a spine card (but I'm guessing not).
