I just got done doing the directions you said no it did not work it look like as if it was trying to work tho usally the error pops up and the screen close 5 seconds later but this time it did for 30 secsonds
Try to go into the settings (the second button on the launcher) and then drag that bar that goes from 1-5 over to 1. Then press the bottom left-corner blue button, and then the bottom-right. Start the game and let me know if that works for you.
