The mundane: Went to the unemployment centre this morning. Yesterday afternoon (13:00-ish), they had ran out of numbers and we was told that that means no one else gets talked to. Oh well. Cue this morning 9:30 we show up, it's people bursting out of the centre (it's smaller than your regular bank office), and no more numbers. Great. They opened half an hour ago, and already ran out of numbers. I'd like some return for my taxes pl0x!

IRS fucking twats!

So, in this years IRS, I recalculated what they sent me. Turned out they rounded up instead of down and were charging me 1 cent too much. I filed a complaint, the paydate rolled around and I had to pay. Today I get a letter about the complaint. It goes like this
" Dear citizen, your complaint is valid and we charged you 1 cent too much. We see you already paid the wrong value. Since there's this law, we're keeping your money. Good bye. "

Oh, it's ON, baby.

Edit: that law states that if the return is under 9,98EUR, they just keep it. How can that be OK, fucksake.
