The problem with the WiiU is that it doesn't have the library of games that the 3DS have. Originally, the WiiU was supposed to serve as the HD port of 3DS games but never did what it said because Nintendo was afraid to release games on it due to lacking starting sales. Most never bought it because there wasn't a point to buy it, no motivation, no reason.

I wouldn't say Nintendo went back to it's roots but I say that they are taking baby steps to improving unlike the other two who are always rushing (biggest example is release next gen consoles with very little next gen games ready).

Coming from a critic that makes a lot of critic on games, this is what I say:
-Nintendo is not apart of the "Console War" which the PS4 and Xbox had grown wary of now.
-Nintendo doesn't focus on their console but rather their games. (Yea the other two as well but you have to admit that both PS4 and Xbone are trying to expand what their consoles can do rather than what good games you can play on it)

Simple explanation from me so that anyone can understand:
"I don't a truck about which console is better at whatever! I all care is about the games I can play on it!"
