Ys is quite a bit of fun, I enjoyed that action RPG series. Touhou actually had a Youmu fanmade game based on that series. Best BGM ever in that game! Sound Sepher is great~

Sounds like a great weekend! Over here for me I'll basically be going to the farmer's market, watching the film Elysium with some friends and preparing for my Vancouver trip on Monday. Should be good all-in-all. Yeah, the UNESCO site was amazing, I took a couple hundred photos of that mountain/waterfall/lake natural park as well~

Yep, always fun to plan an amazing trip! :3 For now the closest I can come to being in Japan is playing Shogun 2 total war! xD

I played Deathsmiles about two years ago and I'd say it was fairly fun with it's artstyle and colourful characters. I also downloaded the excellent OST for the game. Interesting all-around but the world wasn't as engaging as touhou for me. I'm the leader of the Touhou club on the main forum that I'm active on so I've kept up with every little development in manga/fanart/fanmusic and I've been lovin' the series for several years now. ;D

Hahaha, part of my family is from Texas and to be honest I'd rather keep it cool! XD Over here nobody believes in A/C so at times it'll hit 90+ and it can get a bit unbearable, at least for me. I like the seasonal changes and the sharp contrasts between each one so I don't mind the snow. Driving in it would be the worst part! :P

HIKING, SWIMMING, AND RUNNING, YEAH! \o/ Love it over here since I live right next to a very long hiking trail. Plus the city has it's fair share of great run-by the river or lakes. <3

Oh, Oh! Also I just got back from a UNESCO natural world heritage site where I was hiking and swimming all over the massive place! Do you take nature related trips very often?

It was, it was! Sooooo much damn fun! <3 I showed stu several hundred photos from the trip. All the classic must-see things to do in each country~ ;D Anyway, I had one friend who did an entire four month students abroad type of thing over in Japan. To me you really have to see much more than just Akihabara. Mt. Fuji, Kyoto and the various shrines are key aspects of the visit too! :3

Speaking of shrines, are you familiar with the touhou games? Double Dealing Character just came out Monday and it's great fun! \o/

Not so cold to be honest! XD Seriously warmer over here than the majority of Canada. Even Montreal or Toronto gets some super chilly -22 F weather as opposed to our 14 degrees(lol, still freezing your butt off I know!) Right now it's 80 degrees. However you always do have to deal with those pesky hurricanes once in awhile over here. :P

Yep, I went on a big driving trip over the spring. Three weeks and over 2000 miles through France, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. It was honestly a dream Euro-trip! \o/ lol, if you ever ask stu about it then I've told her about it in ridiculous detail! xD Japan is at the top on my list as well. A friend went there recently and it sounded amazing~ :3

Cool, cool. I live in Newfoundland which is an island in far-eastern Canada. However I have quite a few relatives who live in Texas so I've driven across the state countless times.

I don't mind the length, like to me it's more important that the writer is satisfied with the chapter. In my mind 2-5k words sounds reasonable.

I live on the peninsula of an island and within 1 minute walk away from the beach so I see it everyday... however I'm willing to bet it's much colder here than what you'd enjoy! XD Still within a solid range of 80-100 degrees in the summer~ I don't tan, I just burn! :P lol, I'm sooooo pale but I guess I'm used to it. Worst sun burn of my life while in southern Italy back in May but it was all incredible anyway! ;D

Nice list of Ghibli films, they're all classics. Yeah, Milla is easily my favorite character! <3 But really, they all have their unique personalities. 20 hours in and Lovin' the story so far~

Haha, I know exactly what you're talking about! I always have trouble when I'm not sleeping in my waterbed. I always prefer the sun as well, especially when I'm out doing work on the water. However too much sun and I burn like a lobster! xD Although I don't mind snow, that's always quite cool~

I was a huge fan of Laputa, princess mononoke etc. so I was waiting to pick up Ni No kuni for awhile. The Gameplay, OST, art, characters are absolutely fantastic. lol, as I was telling stu, I wish I could forget everything just to be amazed by it again. It's just that good! :3

Rain over here has been off and on all week. This kind of crazy humidity changes is giving me some serious headaches. :P But beside all that I made it a JRPG week. I picked up Tales of Xillia and it's just a fantastic game all-around. Tons of fun to play!

Yeh, Soul Calibur used to be fun till the button mashers and people that would just use ringouts to win.
I love the old marvel vs capcom games and Dead or Alive series. I was really good with four characters.
Kasumi, Ayane, Lei Fang, and Hitomi. We'll, they were my favorites anyways.

We seem pretty similar in that regard. Wish I had people to play fighting games with.
Only draw back to that s finding an opponent that wants to test their skills rather then button mashing their way to victory. I dunno if you feel the same way in that regard.
