Hard to do these days, especially with the holiday. Just came back from my mini vacation and gotta put my nose back to the grindstone. Considering going back to school in the spring, but we'll see.

I'd like to jam out on the game again... But it's hard to fit it in with everything else. Maybe sometime this week I'll pop in and smash some stuff with peeps.

W/e the hell that was about he was an ass for it thinking he could shut me up just because someone spilled the beans. He wants to dick ride behind the crowd and put his 2cents in and thinking countering with something like that actually seems right or make him feel supreme.

As for everything else, I'm working through the medical system trying to get my bad eye removed. Saw a new optometrist on Wednesday and endured like 14 bajillion tests (12 bajillion of which involved things touching my eyes for extended periods of time) and hoping this guy's on the same page with removing what is essentially a useless eyeball. Then it's onto shopping for fun prosthetics. Ultimate goal is an LED pupil, but we'll see. ;D

Other than that, not much else going on other than games. I'm just far more interested in playing games than writing about them much right now, and I've made substantial progress through my backlog this year. Playing Bully at the moment. I wasn't a huge fan of Rockstar's PS2 work (other than GTA III, which I 100%'d), but I'm playing Bully on Steam now and having a pretty good time.

Rogue Legacy isn't a game where you necessarily die and start over. Death is actually a mechanic the game works off of. When a character dies, they DO die permanently, but the gold they accumulate and equipment they find/equip is transferred to that character's next of kin (randomly generated from a set of three.) You use your accumulated gold to buy permanent stat boosts that all of your new heirs will have, new classes, and special abilities. The dungeon is always randomly generated and there are four main areas you have to finish, but you can also pay to have the dungeon's layout locked down if you got a pattern you like (at the cost of only getting 75% of the normal gold you'd find.) So, while it has a lot in common with roguelikes, it actually makes death fun and addicting since you're always making progress. Figured I'd help clear that up a bit.

And yeah, the demo for Pac-Man CE DX is certainly worth checking out at least. I blew so much time on PS3 with that game. xD

I thought it was a fun little romp. I love me muh NES games and that's no big secret, so while I was a tad disappointed that it didn't live up to Bionic Commando: Re-Armed's lofty remake standards, I actually enjoyed the simplicity and charm quite a bit. Nostalgia for the cartoon and hearing all the original voice actors again was just really nice too. Thanks again.

Hmmm...It's hard to say where our game tastes line up and what I'd recommend. Rogue Legacy was a boat load of fun and has a super fun premise, but I'm not quite sure how platformers set with you.

Pac-Man: Championship Edition DX is STUPIDLY addictive and an amazingly sharp new twist on how you think of Pac-Man. Definitely check some videos or the demo on that one.

Given your love of Saints Row, maybe Just Cause 2 could offer you something new. That game's just prime for all kinds of player-created crazy with your grappling hooks, parachutes, and access to tons of vehicles. Pretty sure there's a demo for that one.

Me, I was off playing FFXIV. It was a gift from a friend who was begging me to give a second chance. It's not so much that I loved it and got lost in it as it is if I have any intention to play over the long term, I'd like to get my hooks in the economy now while the iron's hot. I'll be around more when Super Hard lands.
