Thanks for the interest, but I'm viewing that weapon as a sign that some divine/power out there in the universe reeeeeeeally wants me to try playing a ranger class. So I'm going to do that and see what happens in SH with that weapon. If it turns out I get through levels more than 50% slower than my force/hunter, then I will definitely think seriously about shelving the ranger and trading the H44 away.

It seems to be the way that we always find items unusable by our main classes!
