dude have you ever played rakion

for some reason i think you'd reeeeeeeeeeeally like that game man (well, if you like pvp games). you can still play it even though it's degraded quite a bit. the pvp imo is balanced and all classes are viable classes. there's no canceling anywhere, just good game design i suppose. there's even a basic mode in pvp where all characters have lvl 1 stats (but they failed to introduce this mode until the game was already dead :'( )

as for the whole canceling thing though, how can you be so sure that the game designers didn't do it on purpose? or at this point do you think they did, so they're being lazy?

and then it makes me think of things where canceling seems to be done on purpose like guilty gear and roman cancels. does canceling ever become acceptable to you, or does it always stay within improper/lazy designing? it seems you have boundaries but they're vague and hard to understand.
