If you had two slots prior to EP2's launch, you get 1 free slot but that one is considered as a ticket rather than a free slot so it is a 1 time use. For those that had only 1 character before the update, 2nd slot is reusable.

I keep getting a GameGuard has failed to update error whenever I try starting up the game. How do I fix this? D:
I have a noob question. to get matter board (12) do you (I) need to be a certain level? I have done all of episode 1 story chapters, did all the route things. I know this isn't much information to answer the question...sorry...but I would like a suggestion on what to do, even if it doesn't work, I will try it, I have already tried a few things and nothing, I am very tired, probably just missing some simple thing.
Probably killed dragonkin during Chapter 10.
Don't do that.
How do I unlock sub classes?
I just made a new character and I can't choose a sub class...
I'm aveteran player but all of the old things I have forgotten LOL
Yep, Koffie gives you the subclass unlock at 20.
Okay, I will try that, thank you.
After much time raising my hunter and braver to the late forties, I still feel I'm lacking in the damage department. I'm working on a pure s-atk mag right now and still have an all skills tree reset I plan on using to correct any useless skills I grabbed. So my question is besides the mag and skill tree (and getting a real nice weapon) are there other ways to hit harder?
You could affix some souls on your units.
Patty and Tia partner cards: How do I get them?
I read something or other about the GP2013 quests. Do I need to do a specific one in a specific time, or...?
Does a premium ticket work for all the characters on your account or just the character that uses the premium ticket?
Also, does this also apply to the make over ticket (the one that lets you re-tweak certain things about your character)? meaning will I be able to use 1 makeover ticket for 2 characters?
Premium is on the account level, makeovers are consumed when you submit changes and are on the character level.
Hunter only really starts packing a hefty punch once you've filled in the majority of the fury tree. Max Fury Combo Up asap, then Fury Stance, then Fury Stance Up 1, JA Bonus 1, and JA Bonus 2 evenly.
I've reached certain points and then some. The only things left undone on my matter board are the rodos, goron, and dragon ex drops. Maybe I have to go back and clear the dead end path of a certain story question? I tend to clear the matter board then go for the updated path in the story quests.
Oh, good. That makes it easier...maybe. I'll give that a shot today, thanks.
Yes.
This is a free to pay game, after all. (hue hue i m claver)
If I were to go fight Vardha Soma solo, would the mobs still spawn when fighting him? Or would I need real friends with me to get them to spawn?
Just wondering because I already got two Lambda Lacruicio's just from killing those mobs in a few runs, would be nice to farm it by myself at free will.
hey, can someone clear up ability transfers a bit for me?
i have an armor piece i want to put quartz soul on. i have amor's i can move that from, but when i prompted to select the materials the armors with quartz soul do not appear.
does the rarity have something to do with it maybe? the material armors are 5 star, and the armor im trying to move the abilities to is 8 star.
thanks
Augh! of course XD i must have been seeing a quartz soul on multiple armor pieces, but i must not have had 2 of a given slot. (ie 1 arm, 1 leg; and not what i would need like, 2 arm, or 2 leg to be used as fodder)
alright, thanks a bunch ^^
How can I equip a Double Saber as a Braver, also is it worth using one as a Braver? I enjoyed them very much back in ye olde PSO days.
No angry plz!
You would have to use an all class double saber such as the one obtained from trading in Falz stones or the Amen hotep (or whatever that thing is called.) You would need a fighter sub class to use its photon arts though. If you like double sabers a lot, you'll really want to go fighter though.
Lambda Hellfret and Fossil Victor are both solid options, the former especially as a Falz killer thanks to its latent.
Ok cool but what if I go sub Fi, then?
The Amen series are not all class. They are exclusive to Hunter, Fighter, and Force.
Your only semi-decent options for Braver is the iritista double saber or the lambda helfret.
Glad to help. If you send a good job after buying something you get a small bonus, and if you bring friend partners on quests you complete you get a nice amount of fun as well. (srank may be required for this, I don't know)
is there a way to hide forum threads?
Well, yeah, but no at the same time. It makes a bit of sense since there's a partisan (hunter), double saber (fighter), and rod (force).
What doesn't make quite as much sense is the Naur Crescent (sp?), which is fighter, force, and techer with 570 tatk at +10. I'm guessing it's from a previous game?
where can i find the drop tables for XQs? not just the 11* stuff but also the pyroxene exchangeables
Is there any merit going Ra/Fi instead of Ra/hu?
Another Braver question (sorry) but is snatch step a good skill to invest in? I've tried it before and i see step attack a better option and SS just a waste. Am i right or am I *cough* doing it wrong?
From what I know, snatch step allows damage to be done just by stepping and step attack requires you to attack in order to do damage during stepping.
I love snatch step because sometimes when i get frustrated by the number of enemies around me i just start stepping everywhere doing damage and avoiding getting hit. Maybe I'm just crazy.
Humm, that makes a little sense. There we times where I don't know where enemies are and I happen to step into them and kill them. Maybe it is useful...
I asked this in a related thread, but it looks like that thread will die.
I've been playing with Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics.
The game runs okay with simple shaders at 1024x600, but my FPS drops to basically 0 during MPAs, certain weapon switches (mine or others), and that stupid desert/quarry dust storm effect.
It seems like a lot of people at pso-world tend to run integrated graphics, so I'll ask here: is there any way to make those effect play more nicely with my setup?
I didn't find anything good about Snatch Step. It is marginally more useful than Step Attack when using Bullet Bow, but the damage you do with it is laughable, and it doesn't seem to have any other uses, like the JA that you get from Step Attack.
So, unless I'm missing something, you are better off skipping the skill altogether. However, something tells me that they'll either buff its range or add another skill that requires you to invest into Snatch Step soon. Though the latter is less likely, since Sega seems more interested in making Braver's skill tree focus on bow and katana gimmicks.
None. Chase will not apply to your gun PAs (with two possible exceptions: Parallel Slider's and Impact Slider's physical kicks). Stance dancing, or being forced to hug one side of an enemy or face the task of changing between brave & wise stance and the 60 second cooldowns they have between activations, will massively hinder your damage. Not to mention hunter offers strictly superior damage, better base ratk, and better hp.
The one single advantage fighter could possibly offer is crazy heart - 2x PP recovery when under the influence of a status effect. Adrenaline offers +20-30 seconds per S&D pulse, up to the caster's cap. Ha ha ha, no, fighter doesn't offer anything better than hunter as a sub for ranger.
edit:
Snatch step offers a smidgen of damage (lol), a chance to inflict an SE or bind if you have fighter in the mix (I know it inflicts SEs, not 100% on chase bind), and more importantly it flinches enemies. If you're stepping chances are high you're trying to avoid damage or inflict flinch. Snatch step offers a slight bit of protection in the form of offense - the same way step attacking offers a slight bit of protection in the form of offense by flinching enemies. Interrupting an attack is always useful, and snatch step is just another way to do that.
For 1 SP you can't go wrong at all. A lot of people talk down about it, but in small groups it's nice to have that one extra way to guard yourself with properly timed flinching.
Any word on what level we'll need to be to get into Super Hard?
I don't believe so, no.
Yeah, you can use it to interrupt attacks. It's not useful all of the time, but when you're in a bind and about to me flinchlocked to death it's very handy. Let's say you have a wave of set sadinians chasing you down, and you can't even get off one attack - you don't need to! Dodging directly into them forces them all to flinch, which is all the opening you needed.
It's not the most powerful flinch, but it interrupts a number of other things. You can stop a fordran's stomp charge with it too, for instance.
So it looks like i should leave it open and just play until i see the need for it because right now i dont but i will take your info on it for sure in the near future.
If you use katanas just drop the 1 sp into it. What are you even giving up to do that anyway?
We're getting reset passes in the near future. If you decide you dislike it then just don't get it again when you reset your trees to fix something on one of your other classes.
If Keiji Inafune was to be Lead Man of PSO2 instead of Sakai would the game be more appealing?
Any suggestions on what to add to my skill tree?
http://bit.ly/158ilk0
Derp, I forgot to put that on the tree before linking it. Anyways, I still don't know what to spend the other 13 SP on.
What is you guys' opinion on this two choices:
Gu/Ra
http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/ski...007bf4S6J0000I
(Both tree have some rookie mistakes done by myself :( )
Gu/Hu
http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/ski...000000lb00000f
(Again, rookie mistake on Gu skilltree...)
I can go for both atm, but what are their good/bad points?
Extra question, I only have one skilltree for each class on one character. Can i use the skilltree reset pass?
Ok so I just started back up after a good year or so away and I noticed an orange bar above the katana. Could someone explain what that is?
Does anyone know how to fix the NabII time attack glitch (loss of HUD and shortcut functionality) without restarting the game?
Is this a selling XQ pass party? This is the first time seeing something like this.
http://i.imgur.com/64dLeuk.png
This was prolly asked before but does rare pass actually do anything?
100% aq + 250% pass no rares the whole run in ruins and caps hardly drop. = . =
It does, just bad luck for you. :S
Don't max out Chain Trigger. Keep to 5 and invest into Chain Finish instead. I've never had an issue with PP on GU, so I don't run for PP restraint. Also, S Roll JA Bonus is the only one worth maxing in that tree.
The build that I would use:
http://ryuhiroshi.funpic.de/pso2/ski...000000lb00000f
HU tree is just as it should be.
GuRa has great burst damage with WB and CT, but it's damage isn't at great on areas that aren't considered weak points. GuHu is more consistent in DPS, but doesn't have the burst damage that GuRa does. If you actively try to go for weak points, GuRa is also great for mobbing.
GuRa = Greater Burst damage + WB is great for party
GuHu = More consistent damage
I personally like GuRa for it's burst damage and I'm generally the only person with a rifle in my party.
Reset Pass will reset all of your skill tree
Thanks for your opinion, but the JA skills can't be undone anymore ( unless skilltree reset pass is used)
And regarding Skilltree reset pass, isn't it need another skilltree for that class for it to be usable?
e.g. Ranger 1 have several mistakes but can I use the reset pass since I don't have Ranger 2 (buyable with AC)?
That's pretty much it. Can't reset a tree without having another tree.
Sega has been giving out reset passes whenever they made changes to the skill trees.
Yeah it's either very good drops or very bad drops for me, but tbh rare pass only seems to increase drops like aq mats and such no caps cuz I'm almost always short and no rares cuz I'll sell them! XD
once super hard comes out in the same update new skills will come out and for that sega will give out players 1 all tree skill tree reset pass for each char you own, so if you have 2 chars you will get 2 passes: in other words, wait for 2-4 weeks to rectify w/e you've done wrong
What is the guy lots of people like to put into Symbol Arts that works at SEGA? You see his face in ones that say 'PSE BURST' or 'ONE MORE!' etc.
I heard he was the director of PSO2 in general or something. Please if anyone can tell me his name.
satoshi sakai
there's an accessory i want really badly... but it's like 9 million meseta T_T
so my question is, what would be some great ways to make meseta (level 41)? would doing the AC scratch and selling whatever I win be a good way?
also, is there a guide or something for the AC scratch? i'm not sure which option on the menu list i'm suppose to buy
One way to accumulate meseta ingame without having to spend AC is running time attack with klotho's client order (know as TACO and they are daily). There is 5 TA with a CO for each difficulty, but they are the only CO whose lower difficulty as to be done on that difficulty. Effectively meaning 15 runs if you want to do them all. Normal are 30-35k, Hard are 50-65k and VH are all 100k meseta each(500k for VH alone and almost 1mil for everything). VH would be difficult to do at your level, so I would recommend to party up (well, for all for faster run).
Otherwise, since you talked of spending AC on scratch and selling, then you got a shop already. Hope to get lucky with rare drops or good affix fooder (various soul, check their price if you wanna hunt for those) or power/shoot/tech/others III are in high demand from Advance Quest (AQ, lv45+, mostly 2+ affix on weapon and units). There is also Wind & Rain EQ this week, you might get lucky drops there, even if some stuff had their prices by drop a lot, it might pick back up later.
If you got some starting meseta, then learning pricing in shops is good, allowing you to buy lower and sell higher, especially when new AC scratch rotation happen where price will drop temporarily on stuffs.
i've just noticed that i have an unit with power IV on it and nothing more, what possibly could have given me it? i didn't buy it for sure nor did i affix it, don't have melee chars
unit name is レッグ/サイトレグナーb
oh, so i wasn't seeing things when a rare bow dropped around boxes with no monsters around it lol
umm, im tryin to figure out how much storage i actually have. when i send things from my inventory to storage, it gives me "x/200". but when i got to the storage device two retrieve anything, it says "x/2030" up at the top. soo, which is it? 200 or 2030?? O_o
For RA's is Weak Hit Advance 2 really worth maxing out or should this be logic by this point? Also what about Killing Bonus, what are the chances of recovering PP?
Killing Bonus restores PP at 100% chance, but you need to be close to the enemy. Very useful when attacking with things such as Rodeo, Thrillplosion or Assault Buster.
Max both WHAs, they are massive damage boosts.
Another thing, since I found a few Lambda Lacruico's, I've been wanting to play BR a lot. It's only lv. 28 and all I know is to do Kressida, Franka, Amelin, Hans, and Revelle CO's and 'try' to grind Quarry Ex.. However, on my ship for some reason in the filled hard block which is only one or two, people like grinding Desert Ex. and not Quarry Ex.? Is this due to the fact they are lower leveled and don't understand? I don't know.
I just know it's a pain in the ass to level a class to 40 so you can play with MPA who know what they're doing for once.
If anyone has any suggestions, please help.
how do people dash and thrurst forward with lance?
I try the dash atk but only get slow lance slash :/
is speedy movement even possible on vita?
If you're trying to create a new character with the extra slot, already have 2 characters, and then return to the menu without creating do you lose the slot?
you shouldn't lose the slot, but you can always make a new account and make a char on that new account and just save the char data and load it at creating the char in your proper account
Thanks ^^
If you upgrade a +10 weapon using AQ stones, does it keep the grind?
Wut? a few Lacruicos?...Gratz xD
You could try to find party in another block and choose which MPA is almost full. However, N and H party is harder to find than VH.
My way for fast leveling is:
-Giving your Support Partner collecting COs to do everytime they've free time. Also, try to increase the relationship with him/her so that 10 COs can be done simultaneously.
-Hans' CO are easy EXP giver, especially the boss one. Combine some of them with H/VH TACO for easy access to the boss. I rarely do Kressida's COs since the requirement is sometimes hard for me to complete (Boss rushing is easier)
-EQ everytime it's available.
-Have fun with the class you're playing. I'm currently trying Gunner for a while, and it has been increasing in level steadily :)
Also, I don't think my way is any different than your leveling way. Any class except your first starting class is always a bit difficult to level up.
Are you able to level up a subclass and your main class at the same time?
I screwed up my mag and it has roughly 80 points of wasted points(not in s-attack). How crippling is that for a hunter?
Ideally.. A hunter/fighter should pick a force as a support character?
