This makes PSO-World one of the oldest forums I'm subscribed to.

I don't post much, but I've been following PSO games since the first game on Dreamcast.

I think it's pretty sad how SEGA only cares about Japan. The series would be pretty popular on current consoles / PC elsewhere, too.

There's nothing quite like it. Even though I dislike PSO2's core gameplay changes, I'd still pay for an international version.

Back on topic, I was a teenager when I registered. Now I'm in my thirties, still enjoying videogames like before.

Welcome to the 15 yr club. Still a few of us '02 members around. This is also the oldest forum I'm still part of it. In fact, it's the only one I joined in the 00's that is still running. All my heavy posting occurred during the PSO's prime years haha.. Every now and then I load up blue burst, just to have that giddy feeling lol. Those were the days..

Crazy stuff right.

I may not be there quite yet but close. I just recently dusted of the old Dreamcast and fired up V2. Good times.

I forgot how long I have been here...

I started play pso in my teen years / early 2002 saw this site as and lurk as guest to get information , didn't sign up till 2006 , but which made community better :) but at least 12 years for me I'll take it.

I was in college when I started coming here. 15+ years later, I'm still here, though not posting as much.
Job and family are in the way, but that's life.

I lurked here for close to a decade, but only registered when PSU launched I believe. I always have to check in from time to time.

Oh, how I miss my PSU buddies.

I've lurked here since 2002 when I was playing the dreamcast version but didn't make a forum account until 2004. then I forgot the login details for my other psow account (K-NiNeArawen) and made this account. I still lurk around but don't post nearly as much as I used to.

15 years is about 87% of my life.

I wish I could've experienced the original PSO back when the official servers were online. Well, as long as all of the 15 Years are alright and in good health.

That's wild. I still have 3 years to go before I enter that club. That was mostly because I played practically all of my PSO1-only experience before coming to this forum. It was pretty much with Universe I discovered this place and all. I used to be very very active, but then I kind of went more to lurk status around a year after PSU shut down and PSO2 launched.

It does feel odd that SEGA kind of abandoned the West when it comes to Phantasy Star. Then again, they did it for quite a few franchises for which they seem to be slowly getting back to bringing certain franchises here. I keep thinking that perhaps Phantasy Star would eventually be one of them. If anything, I bought so many copies of various Phantasy Star Online releases throughout nearly every console and portable version available. I still can't bring myself to actually pay money into PSO2 unless it is localized. (I seem to have this thing about participating in regular payments of overseas-only server games)

I would guess that might have left this place a bit of a ghost of its former self. Here's hoping to whatever future Phantasy Star can bring. I guess I'm a bit in love with both the atmosphere and the whole story mythos behind the project.

Sadly I've been coming to this site for 10 years (most of it spent lurking). I discovered this site looking for guides on PSO and I kept coming back.

It's close to 10 years when I joined this site, 3 months after I graduated. I kinda feel a little old now. ^^;

wow, OP. Time sure does fly indeed. Life's keeping us all busy it seems. Been here for 12 years, and is the oldest/longest running forum community I've been a part of; Lot's of history made. This place will always have a special spot in my heart. <3

I miss when just playing a game online and taking down the Dragon with pals was fun.

I miss those Forest to Ruins runs, that also included Caves. Also, the somewhat rare, Forest to whatever the last area for EpII was. CCA was always fun too. After being done with ruins, the group for start a new room and start up ep 2.

While it annoyed the hell out of me(lack of lv30 megid), miss the guys I was running with during all those Phantasmal World III runs.

I cannot forget Destiny though. She(Or he I guess.) was the reason I switched to FOne in the first place.

I miss being at an age with so much time in the world I could grind for endless hours to hunt down a single ?SPECIAL WEAPON.
Harder and harder to find time to play games as frequently. And evidently I've gotten worse and worse at a lot of games the older I get.

So, how do we go back?

There are more older members here than I thought. Kinda nice I'm not the only one to lurk around after so long.

I honestly don't know how this place has survived for this long. No other sites I "grew up" with from 2001-2002 exist anymore.

I was a teenager when I was first here. Now I'm in my 30s and married. Just got back into playing PSO too. So bizarre realizing I came here half a lifetime ago now.

1st forum I joined back in 07. When I started playing the free beta of Phantasy Star Universe on the Xbox 360. I had the disc but for the 1st few months I only played offline mode. Then after getting my 1st job I started playing online. Meet some really cool people. I think I was the only one out of my friends that I normally used these forums to get information on weapon drops and locations. Meet a few cool people on the forum who I have actually have had the pleasure to get to play PSU with. Almost 12 years later I am married with a beautiful family.

This is also one of the older forums I am a part of, and I am glad still remains. This and Smash Boards. I prefer forums over discord (even though I rarely post nowadays) so I'm glad to see people still posting or coming back. Also I'm old now too. Recently turned 30.

I had to make a new account. My original from back in the day was tied to an email no longer used, so I don't think I can recover it. I didn't even know this board returned until recently. It was like discovering an old friend, a warm hug, a website from the 90's that still had its dancing baby gif.

Searched pso-world today, after hearing Nintendo Age forums were no longer a thing (infrequent lurker). Happy to see this place is still here.

I did too. I PM'd a mod to see if it could be recovered.

I couldn't sign up to PSO-World back in Dreamcast or GC days....
I was too busy playing an awesome game called Phantasy Star Online!

Its been about 16 years since I joined, but I was hanging probably about a year before becoming a member I was always looking in the item database to see what I could get with my ID.

I joined in 2008! Time flies....

Next year will mark 20 yrs since I joined. x_x

Whelp, not even gonna wait for April, so, 20yr Dinosaur mode go~ How in the world PSOW survived this long is beyond me, but glad it has, it's the only place online left that was essentially part of my childhood lol.
