My Regular PSO made my charecter file become corrupted. I was wondering does PSO plus change that so that it gets corrupted less or is it just the memory card?

My Regular PSO made my charecter file become corrupted. I was wondering does PSO plus change that so that it gets corrupted less or is it just the memory card?
PSO Plus reduces corruption caused by online and double save thingie. Reduced, not totally gone.
i don't play online but i am probably sure that it's still good to get plus. Thanks.
