Quick Question:
I have a hunter who has a MAG that was fed to level 10 by a Ranger (turned into a Kalki). I went ahead and fed it to 35 to turn it into a Mitra. My question is does the evolutionary path still follow the Ranger's or will it pick up on the Hunter's at level 50?

Level 35 evolution follows who fed it at level 10. Evolution at level 50 and beyond follows who fed it at that level.
That is why you can get different rare mags by giving the mag to a different character to make it a different rare mag.
As everybody else has confirmed, at level 50 (and 55, and 60, and ... ) it will evolve according to whomever feeds it, regardless of what type it is.
Rare mags won't evolve though.
Lvl 200 non-rare mags will evolve every time you feed them.
