I pick up stuff that's too heavy for me to pick up, and put it down.
Suffering from chronic depression and anxiety; I have a lot of coping mechanisms to help me.
Some coping mechanisms include:
* putting on a pair of headphones to listen to music while playing solitaire on my iPad (something to focus on other than my own inadequaties)
* physically playing games with other people
* taking walks
* listening to others with their problems
* prayers
Oh my, this is some serious thread here :o but still kinda interesting! :3
I feel like the best way to cope with that feeling is to talk with a trustful friend. I'm very lucky about it, since I have some loyal friends that are always available to listen to me if I need. I call/chat with them, or we just get along together. And often we do nothing special, just a walk or maybe a beer to the pub. I often invite them to my house and force them to play PSO2 xD
Anyway, in my opinion, I feel that staying alone in these situations is only worst. If that happens (maybe in the middle of night) I meditate listening to ambient music, ASMR or rain sounds. It helps a lot!
i like to listen to a comedy podcast like If I Were You or Ricky Gervais
