It used to route through an AS belonging to Level 3 - which was exactly when it didn't work.

I quite agree. :/ 2 SP just sounds odd, as well... I think it's quite in human nature to 'like' rounded numbers. 5 and 10's just sound more attractive, psychologically.

Yup. Class skill trainers (Ozha etc) will have new SP-COs, which requires those items to complete.

For completion's sake - this doesn't apply to items already bound.
