I've had this happen. I just saved, quit the game, restarted, went to options and turned Install back to "On". That fixed the problem for me :)

Not true. I've transfered my wifi settings from my DS Lite to my DSi, and all my Wifi games still have the same Friends Code and my whole list of codes. In fact, I've transfered from DS Phat to DS...

Holiday events could've still been programmed in. Look at games like Animal Crossing. Those don't require you to download anything for a holiday event.

It's called personal taste. Not everyone likes the 'guy with big sword and armor on' characters. I agree with Robot Bob here. The one-piece was kind of ridiculous and certainly didn't look like armor...
