The mouse wheel zoom in wasn't available in the alpha. They are implementing it now as an alternative to weapon pallete switch. However, I haven't looked up the setting yet, so I don't know.

Naturally, even if you download and install the whole thing, it shouldn't allow you to log in with your account and password when it starts because you never got an invite.

In the beta download client, when you click on the "download" button for the first time, you get a prompt with Y/N option. I clicked "no" and the client started the download regardless... can anyone...

They have begun handing out the invites for Closed Beta. The test itself will start on April 19th. I'm looking forward to the Mumble voice chat server being opened up again in time for this upcoming...
