it should only tahe "twice as long" if you start it grounded. the time it takes to just jump first is negligable, especially if you're already airborn from a counter.

Gekka costs less, and is far quicker. I can get 3~4 Gekkas out in the time it takes for one sakura, AND it launches trash. Useful for airborn units, garongos, etc.

im pretty sure gekka zakurou out dps's sakura. just do a short hop beforehand, or do it after a counter. If you're in a team with a techer it's better than kanran
