Speaking of the new katana ring, what exactly does it do?

After testing again, yep you're right. Also figured out why i couldn't do it before ^^; (had dash set to double tap directional keys)
Guren Tessen is <3 PP cost is 10, but it's another 10pp for the strike at the end. Travel distance is quite far and it's quite a nice gapcloser for katana since it feels less clunky than shunka....
TBH each of the braver PAs have their uses, the most used ones just tend to be Hatou, Sakura and Kanran.
For mobbing, kanran works as well as sakura for the more sturdy mobs like gu/gawonda.

Master shot too, I've heard that it also works for Satellite Cannon but I've yet to see proof.
Forgot source but IIRC 50 element is equivalent to 50% of your weapon's attack. Let's say if you have 1000 attack, then you have 'hidden' bonus attack based on your weapon's element.
So 1000 attack...
50 element makes all the difference, which IMO makes higher end 11* better than 12* due to being able to easily 50 element it

I haven't tried pre-nerf shunka but I do agree that in terms of PP efficiency, shunka is good. Reason why I don't use shunka more often is that it feels clunky in targeting when KC tsukimi allows me...
I usually go through bosses with small targetable parts (Mizer back core comes to mind). Then again, haven't used Shunka since Hatou/Tsukimi/Sakura usually does the work for me

Shunka is only good for stationary enemies, and even then you can't just spam forward on your next strike, otherwise you'd go through your target even on lock-on mode. I'd alternate between pressing...
