The blast badge is physical non elemental so if you feel it's easier for you to activate it w/o a weapon equiped , i'd say go for it.

This chart shows the min and maxium heights you can make your char , credits go to kassy for makeing the chart.

Well the shortest you can make your char is around 4ft , so the weapons are the same size for everyone , i belive.

I would assume once you buy the expansion disk , if there is one , you would install it and it'l add stuff to your PSU folder. Maybe for ps2 users its PSU orginal + the expansion on one disk.
