I used to own PSO Ep. 1&2 for GC. Like an idiot, I sold it after picking up the Xbox version later down the road...Now I have Ep. III and want to play 1&2 again.

I just got off the phone with Sega and they said there was no way to check if a serial # has been used. I then asked if I did have one that was used, if there was anything they could do about it,...

Is it safe to buy a used copy? I don't remember how the serial # worked. Can it only be used with the specific disc it came with?

I was checking the price of GC PSO at EB's and Gamestop's websites, and they didn't have it listed at all, not even used copies, so I check Amazon.com, and nearly fall out of my chair...

You get acces to the dressing room? Is that for your Avatar or the characters (I.E. Break, K.C., etc.)?

I figured it out with gl0ry's help.
It turns out you have to complete Dr. Osto's Research and Montague will convert your parts in the Unsealed Door quest.
I wonder why they changed it?

I can't seem to get the usual method to work. Has anyone done this yet? Don't tell me we really have to finish all the quests this time...

I am having the same problem. I have done everything needed to get the good Doctor to ID my parts, but he won't do it.
