It would appear that the majority of times you cast from a tali is when you 'combo' a spell immediately after throwing one of the tali cards. Example; Throw Tali -> Throw Tali (Combo) -> Cast Foie...

After...+50 repeated login attempts, I finally got in. Not sure what the issue is, but the servers aren't actually -down- so to speak.

I was logged in, logged out...Tried to get back in, and nothing but 601s with two 242s. ; ;

It's very much like Human AF, minus the boosts. A plus is that RCSMs do a lot of damage, with a hizeri / tech charge and GAS.

This may or may not be useful to you, but my setup as a Newman Female AF is the following:

Weap. Style: Incap. Transform
Shield Style: Rapid Action

Basic abilities: Strength+LV5, Technic+LV2
...

It can be seen both ways, they may be going for a more "realistic" (from an armor standpoint) look.
But, as others have said, it might be nice for there to be a bit more in the way of...
