deus is an exception of a boss where burst is prioritized over consistent DPS + good DPP. Mother was all about td rotations as is almost any other boss you fight ever, especially UQ.
rotating quick march and/or rhapsody with orchestra is better dps and dpp than just spamming orchestra. not to mention quick march/waltz0 into a 5-6 hit nocturne.

1 - td - normal, shift, quick march/wild rhap, shot polka, orch
2 - ds - normal, shift, tornado dance/chaos riser, surprise dunk, acro effect
3 - knuckle - normal, shift, BHS/slider...
no point using it imo with crea doubles/vivienne/gix existing.
the typical path to lv 3 gear is to step, jump very briefly then quick march. after a step, you only need a jump a fraction of the height that you otherwise would if running/walking to get lv 1 gear.
3x austere or rear/arm austere + ray leg is best for fi imo. rings aren't very important since you can put mpal + ring in 1 chat command, and step jump ring is bad for td
tornado dance + chaos riser lets you kill multiple ogars at once.
imo there is no point having a full chase tree. 1 point is adequate for UQ with burn DS.

i did 958k forever ago on a bal rodos with bhs (fire ideal knuckle, weak bullet, weak drink, shifta strike). with updated units and 60fire austere knuckle you probably could hit 999k bhs on it.

i would say ray is better due to dmg reduc and pp reduc for ds. get at least 20% orbit for regen. for td, ray/austere/serafi/aura are all good imo.
