My point is the same as this.
You need to factor in the amount of normal attack to recover PP, as it reduces effective DPS.
For example:
BHS > normal attack 2 is 1628 power in 74f, which translates to 1320 DPS

Yes, the DS ring helps immensely at gear gain. At +20 it's 100% kamaitachi trigger after every PAs except Chaos Riser and Hurricane Sender., with charged Deadly Circle and Illusion Rave trigger 2...
You must be using Chaos Riser with gear 0~1 if you think it's less effective than Hurricane Sender.
Deadly Circle Type-0 has so-so DPS, but has full 360° guard frame for the entire animation.
