Hey, everyone, decided to return with PSO2 around the corner. You might or might not know me as Potemkin/Caboose from US PC/PS2 PSU/AotI.

Patch server might be running into issues. I've decided to just wait till tomorrow to try playing at all; first day shenanigans and all that.

If beasts make a return, Potemkin will end up in a trans-dimensional anomaly and end up pulled here from his retirement. If not, I'll probably sit at the creation screen for several minutes thinking...

The final score does seem a little generous to me as well; I'd put it at a 7.5, myself. However, it's still the best entry in the "Universe" sub-series by far, and I'm looking forward to Infinity.

Trap damage scales to your level, so trap damage goes up as you level up. As far as making them stronger, the only way is the "Burst Bomber" ability you get leveling Vanguard.

Silver's obtained at level 30.

As far as differences, Silver is geared towards area attacks, Gold is more for single target damage.

I learned to live with it. At least now I don't need to spend a while coming up with a decent outfit and getting the colors to somewhat match. >_<

And gold and silver's high EVP doesn't help as much as you'd like; you'll still need to tread very carefully around enemy spellcasters. And Maiden help you if you're in the red and you go black...

Yeah, the reskins and shared models seem to be handled much better; I love how the two "giant multi-legged mech" bosses fight very differently.

Just finished the story stuff with a "from scratch" char; I'm going to convert one later today. Haven't touched the online stuff, and now I'm wondering if I really want to. >_>

Yeah, I just took a quick peek at the online stuff. Going from PC/PS2 to this crud is a little jarring. Hopefully the full game won't be quite so ridiculous.

Congrats, I found and extended mine a while back; Neutral seems to be a decent element for them (seeing as instakill 4 couldn't care less what element the enemy is).

We're probably going to get most of the stuff from the JP version, just with some changes to accommodate licensing and such.
