PSU-PS2: US servers playable overseas?

Hi guys. I did a search before posting, but nothing came up so:

Just wanted to know if it would be possible to use my US PSU-PS2 account overseas? I'll be moving to Japan in a couple of months and would like to know if I can still log on and play with my US account over there? Thanks in advance.

I have played with people in china and japan, there are also a lot of players from france around. It's probably safe to assume you will be able to as well. '-'

It's not region locked, if that's what you mean.
The worst that can happen is that it gets a bit laggy. Or that you have problems installing PSU US version on japanese windows, but I doubt you would.

if you bring your machine, there will be no problem. neither with logging into the western servers nor paying for it.
you'll need a japanese copy of the game to log into the japanese servers.

take care of the different electricity standards tho, so you dont fry your ps2 or something.
