I cannot detain myself. I must point out that it's spelled "reeks", not "wreiks". You couldn't possibly have gotten it more wrong.
Maybe that teh 1337 speak way to spell it?
Either way, his post ph41ls at being useful.
It is a damn shame that the servers are not connected. Any other Xbox live game, you can play anyone from anywhere around the world. Even on GC, sure, the servers were separated, but you could at least access the other ships.
I think I understand the mentality behind the split in the beginning. For years we've always said that Japanese players tend to not want to play with Americans because we cheat, and unfortunately it's made a very difficult stereotype for those of us who DO play legit to overcome. I'm not saying that to insult Japanese players, as it is simply the nature of their culture to keep to themselves. SEGA has already proven that they value their Asian markets over other parts of the world, I think the split may have been an attempt at keeping those players "happy." IIRC I could have sworn someone on here mentioned months ago that the JP PSOX isn't stuck in Eternal Christmas like the rest of us are
I also heard from a couple people (though I cannot confirm) that Japanese PSOX players actually HAVE the ability to switch to NA ships, but, frankly, why would they want to?
Regardless of whatever reason for the split (maybe it was merely to just mirror the GC split?) at this juncture, the community is small enough that they should just merge them back.
