I am on the Plus version of PSO JP. It does have an English option. Keep in mind though that it won't run on your Gamecube without some modification. Is there any reason ye really need the JP version over the English?

Yeah, I go to Japan very often and would prefer a JP GameCube (much cheaper than here), so it'd be nice not to have to load up freeloader or Action Replay all the time.

Actually, though, I'm looking for the non-plus version. Anyone know if that version has full English text as well?

I can't think of any reason why the non-plus version wouldn't have an english option. Plus is basically just a few bug fixes and a few new offline quests. I don't have a non-plus version of JP PSO but I'd bet any sum of money that it does have an english option.
