Headsut funtionality is part of XBox Live, not PSU.

PS2 DOES have a headset, and has had one since the release of Socom. MGO uses a headset as well.
PSU for the 360 has voice chat because it is something that Xbox live provides. There was almost no work involved on Sega's part in getting it to work. If they put voice in the other versions they would have to provide the software and bandwidth, which they are not willing to do.
The PS2 version runs crappy enough as it is, making it process voice chat would kill it.

Anyway, I feel bad for you guys... not being able to talk w/o censors...
I'd rather have that then have to deal with a bunch of children on Live. >_>
The PS2 censor is actually more lenient than ours, or so I've heard.
foamcup: If by children you mean a bunch of 25-40 year old guys, then yeah, that might be a problem.
