How you guys felt about PSU in comparison to PSO

Hey guys. I was a huge fan of PSO, and I was thinking about getting PSU. I was just wondering how you guys felt about PSU in comparison to PSO. I know PSU hasn't gotten reviews that were as good.

Also, is it possible in PSU to use the same character online and offline as well?

Question 1 will undeniably be bandwagoned by the fact that PSU has hacking that makes the economy bad. That, and the BGM's suck rotten eggs in toilet bowls.

Question 2 is a resounding no. We wish, but no.

PSU is an entirely different game. Only way to know if you like it is to try it yourself. Go rent it at Blockbuster or something.

And no, you cannot use the same character online as you can offline. Everything is saved server side.

no.. there's still a lot circulating though, but prices are coming down on stuff. There's still a few dumbasses charging ridiculous amounts for common goods, but not as much :3

as for PSO.. I only playedthe gamecube EP 1 and 2 offline. It was fun, although I like the more open feel of PSU.

I do miss MAGS though X3

The only things I hands-down liked better about PSU was character and room customization options. There's a few other things here and there that are really nice about PSU, but overall I prefer the maps, music, enemies, gameplay and general stylistic look of PSO over PSU. That's not to say PSU is a bad game. It got hurt pretty badly by hacking since a large part of its gameplay is meseta-driven, but you may enjoy it. I enjoyed it for a while. Check it out.
