That sucks, but Im glad you can play your own music online and stuff! I may get a 360 later so thats why Im asking.
So you cant set your music so it can play automatically once a level/boss begins? meaning you have to do the work of putting your music everytime a level or boss starts all the time?

Nope, the music wil keep playing throughout the game till you stop it. The only thing is that boss cut scenes interrupt the music for the movie, then starts off where it got stopped.
You can put a suprisingly large amount of MP3s on your Xbox while only using a minimal amount of space. Those in turn can be played anytime, regardless of what you are doing on your box.

No, you cannot set your soundtrack to the "rhythm" of the game. But the soundtrack is easily accessable in the blade which appears when you press your guide button. If you want a certain music to play during, say a boss fight, cue up the track and pause it right before stepping into the teleporter. Then during the loading screen, access your blade again and unpause. This should allow you to start the music you want without interupting gameplay. On 2007-03-13 07:48, Hucast-Kireek wrote:

Playlists are another option. It will save you a great deal of time if you have a large music collection.
Playing your own music during game is seperate than setting the sound effects as well right?
So one can be playing your own mp3's AND hear the important sound effects from the game at the same time, right?
I wouldn't want to sacrifice hearing a monster or team member behind me for instance. Or muting the effects I make with techs and guns.
