Challenge: PSO Wii vs. PSO Xbox

Does PSO episode 1 and 2/PSO episode 1 and 2 plus look better on the Wii, then it does on the Xbox?
I was just thinking, if the Wii ups the performance, and smoothes out the graphics of old Gamecube games, does it make it look and run better, than the Xbox version?
Screenshots are requested, but not required.

I just thought i'd ask this here, because it's something that i've been wondering for a while.

I guess what i'm really asking is, should I get a Wii? Because I have both the Xbox version of PSO, and the Gamecube version of PSO. And, I was curious to see if the Wii would somehow make the Gamecube PSO run better/look better, then it does on the Xbox.

I don't know anything about the Wii. I play PSO on the xbox in 480p and I get jaggies but I'm used to it now.

I doubt in Wii you see it any different than on Gamecube. Wii has a GC built in that's why has 100% retrocompatibility and no changes at all in games.
The GC games I tried on Wii I have not been able to see differences yet. So I guess is same as GC vs Xbox versions.

It looks good at 480p on the Wii, but no better than it looks at 480p on the GC

The graphics are brighter and sharper, clearer, and the colours look better for some reason. CCA looks better in the jungle area.

SONIC TEAM WILL N O T PORT PSO AGAIN.

They would only be losing money now that the bigger and better Blue Burst and Ep.4 have been released.

I know they wont because :

1) PSO BB is the last PSO their going to do, simply because if they DO add Ep.5 its easier to just make a patch rather than make a whole nother game shipment.

2) Phantasy Star Universe is out.

3) They wont be spending money for another console to host.


Its a dream, but i assure you it wont happen.


And DUH Gcn games look teh same on Wii, the programming wont change. Its not going to use the untapped power in the Wii, its going to act like its playing on a GCN.

Sure, Serephim's suggestion to drop this idea of another port of PSO, is a good indication he didn't carefully read the preceding posts.
But his last paragraph is still on topic.
