PSU: So..where is everybody?

Well i just booted up psu on my pc after awhile and went online (as due to my habit, i'll play a game heavily for awhile, then drop it entirely for awhile..i last played mostly when the buff spells were put in..sorta the reason why i don't play mmo's) Currently i have a level 54 newman fortecher as my main and while i'm looking around for games (in universe 2 when it's at 3 *'s) every place i look is either empty, or is full of players in games that are locked (like a full listing of locked games with only 1 or 2 players each, maybe with 1 c-rank open)

Granted, i never liked the elitist attitude that seemed to pop up (mainly with the YOU MUST HAVE MULTIPLE SCAPE DOLLS AT ALL TIMES attitude) but what the heck happened? It seems like the days of universe 1 and 2 being almost full are gone, and i can only seem to be able to find about 50 people throughout all the planets chatting outside areas.

Is online in psu basically dead already? Do i just pick bad times to be online? Or has this game gone to online play only with your pm and your self in a locked game?

I believe we are just recovering from the mass ban for the illegal items and equips. Says something about alot of the people on our servers.

I also hear alot of "I'm waiting for the expansion" so that may be it as well. But I'll bet that people will be back for the level cap, reach it in two days, then complain of their bordem and return to WoW, FFXI, what have you.

EDIT: But as Dhylec said there is still a number of people to be found at Crimson Beast. Myself included.(When college will finally allow me to play again...)

I thought i heard something of somebody saying some easy times for money, when did this mass banning happen? what happened exactly to cause it?

Mass bannings were in February, I think. I think the cheaters on the Japanese servers got out of hand, so ST laid the smackdown on everyone.

Also, it appears the main cheaters(the really retarded scriptkiddy ones) have given up because the smarter cheaters aren't spreading their new methods to everybody they meet.

I recently came back. I usually don't pick a server once I'm on, I just play in whatever server it puts me in.

Right now my character is very low level, since I just started this one up a week ago today. So... I just do Linear Line missions right now. And on whatever server I play, I see people (sometimes a few, sometimes a lot) outside LL and often at the mid-point viewing station, too. I also see people when I run around shopping. It's not wall-to-wall people like it was last fall, but the population seems to be pretty healthy.
